The firm focuses on all things business. This focus distinguishes it from other firms. Chris Schuering Law LLC represents businesses, business owners, sellers, buyers and investors every day. It isn’t “part of” the firm’s practice, it is the firm’s practice.
About Chris
Chris has been a licensed attorney since 1996. He has decades of experience leading transactions of all sizes and regularly represents buyers and sellers of businesses throughout the entire mergers and acquisitions process.
Chris has acted as lead counsel in transactions involving small and medium-sized Main Street businesses as well as those involving lower middle market companies, private equity firms and international corporations. He also has experience in transactions involving real estate, enabling him to seamlessly handle M&A transactions with a real estate component. Chris started his career in Chicago at a large international law firm and eventually founded Chris Schuering Law LLC.
Not only is Chris a lawyer, but he’s also an experienced business owner. He received his undergraduate business degree from the University of Notre Dame before attending law school. His full time and attention is focused on practicing law, but Chris is also an owner and investor in several other businesses in addition to his law firm. This valuable experience helps him to see business issues, not just legal issues.
A Message from Chris
“I believe experience matters. There are things you can only learn from doing them and seeing them. In my nearly 27 years of experience, I’ve seen a lot of things! My experience is an asset that provides immense value to my clients.
I also believe that lawyers should be problem solvers. My role is not to tell a business owner simply ‘we can’t do that’ but instead to say ‘let’s do it this way instead.’ My goal is to help you achieve what you’ve hired the firm to achieve—whether that be to buy a business, sell a business, invest in one or start one.
My firm is not a legal ‘factory’ just trying to churn out work. Each and every client and each and every matter is important to me and my team. I’ll give the time and attention needed to each and every matter, that is my promise!”
